We’re open for very first Visiting Day in Freedom, IN! You MUST register and pay in advance!
An educational Tour is about an hour. You’ll meet the animals, learn about their rescue stories, personalities, friendships and more. We’ll also share information about the animal agriculture system. After, you can enjoy a stroll through the grounds.
Tour size is limited to 20 people, so register early!
> Closed toed shoes are required on Tours!
> Companion animals are not allowed on the sanctuary grounds.
>Food of any kind is not permitted during the tour, but visitors are welcome to bring a lunch to enjoy after.
> Out of respect for the animals, we ask that all food and beverages are vegan (no meat, dairy, eggs, honey, or animal by-products). If in doubt, please ask us!
> PEAK is a SMOKE and VAPE FREE facility!
For vegan options nearby in Bloomington (check out The Owlery Restaurant or Rainbow Bakery). Interested in a hike or overnight stay, you’ll love McCormick’s Creek State Park only 20 minutes from the Sanctuary.
