Trauma affects everyone. About 2/3 of children in American are traumatized before they even reach adulthood. 5% of people are diagnosed with PTSD, though it is expected that number is much lower than reality. It changes our brains, how we communicate and learn. It is important to know how it may affect you as well as those you love so that you know how to communicate in a trauma-informed manner.

Teacher Bio: Vanessa Convard has been helping Hoosier families in a variety of capacities for over 15 years.
