This is it, folks! Have you ever wanted to take an in-depth, college-level style seminar with your favorite authors?

We are deeply honored to have Gary Lachman join the Nura faculty this semester for a 3-week virtual seminar, “The Lost Knowledge of the Imagination.”

Students receive assigned reading, a class syllabus, a private forum, and 3 live, 90 minute seminars with Gary Lachman hosted on Zoom Meetings on Saturday mornings. (Registration link: http://bit.ly/2PAytUA )

The desired outcome of this class is for students to integrate the imagination as a “way of knowing”:

–>An understanding of the imagination as a cognitive faculty.
–>An idea of the history of the imagination as a discipline in the western inner tradition.
–>Some idea of how the imagination can be used in their own lives and studies.
–>A broader idea of “knowledge” and “knowing” and how this complements our usual ideas about these.
–>An idea of why this important in general and in particular at this time.

It all starts Saturday, November 17th.
