Have you ever thought about trying to work from home online? Maybe you love writing, editing, data entry, or IT support. Freelancing is one way to get yourself started working from home, make some extra money, and build up your portfolio of projects. Some people do this full time and others do it in their spare time, but it can be a little tricky getting started. If you have ever thought about this and wondered if freelancing was for you, join this class to ask all of your questions and see if it is a good opportunity for you!
Kylie, like many women, wears many hats. An employee by day, freelancer by night, and a learner always. She is a full-time employee, but started freelancing in her spare time as a way to save for things like traveling and nights out with friends. She took her passions for writing and serving nonprofits to land two gigs that keep her busy for about 5+ hours per week. It was hard for her to get started, but well worth it once she knew how to navigate and manage the work better. Kylie would love to share tips and tricks to help any interested folks take advantage of such a flexible work-from-home opportunity.
