PURPOSE
This workshop will dive deep into real-life Indianapolis growing scenarios and demonstrate ways to budget, supply, and conserve nutrients for our crops. The intent is to help growers close the loop of soil testing, crop needs, and managing the amount, source, placement, and timing of organic fertilizers and soil amendments on small farms and gardens. This educational event is made possible by grant funding awarded to the SWCDs from Clean Water Indiana. Responsible nutrient management improves the physical, chemical, and biological condition of soil, thereby enhancing its ability to infiltrate and clean water.
