Tenor and soprano saxophonist, improviser, and composer CATHERINE SIKORA was first electrified by the sound of air vibrating in a metal tube when, as a child, she heard the wind playing tones and overtones in a metal gate. She has devoted her life to researching the magic of that sound with her saxophones, particularly in her solo work, which forms the main backbone of her creative output. Her latest album is Corners, recorded live in the Brooklyn Navy Yard on a beautiful Sunday in May 2021, and is available along with her other albums on bandcamp: https://catherinesikora.wordpress.com

Early bird tickets drop Tuesday October 12 at 09:00 CET

The first 100 tickets sold come with a limited edition signed postcard with a personal greeting from the band

Tune in Tuesday Desember 7 at 20:00 CET

25 years into our journey as Jaga, we’re excited to invite our listeners, old and new, to a unique and innovative live experience, brought to you by the producers of several award-winning pay-per-view livestream concerts. As every band is gearing up to get back on the road, we’re proud to announce an online gig that truly pushes the envelope.

Get ready for a space voyage through sci-fi-electronic-acoustic-post-pre-prog-rock jazz, performed with an array of instruments and real musicians who know how to play them.
For those who’ve attended a Jaga show in the past, you know our energy fires like a rocket. If not, this will be your very chance to experience one of the creative pinnacles of electronic music from the last decades. The main theme for the show will be focused around our latest studio album, the critically acclaimed “Pyramid” from 2020, but listeners should also be prepared for close encounters with a wide selection of hits from our back catalog.

Cinematically, VIERLIVE and director Haakon Mathisen promise to deliver visuals, narrative and concepts surpassing anything previously seen in a live format. Imagine being onstage with the band performing live music, except the stage is the inside of a spaceship about to jet off into another galaxy. Start your countdown because this is sci-fi in real-time.

Stay tuned.

Doug Henthorn has been changing the oil in a number of projects since founding and fronting the now disbanded rock band Healing Sixes (2000-14), but the focus has always been on his solo career. His debut release ‘Cold Medicine’ (2016) is a crafty, sometimes brooding songscape, while the current release “The LLC” (2019) is a fun barebones rock record with a healthy dose of newly termed ‘Alternative Blues’. Doug’s music has taken him around the world and all the while he still calls Indiana home.
Highlights over the years:

• Signed to Columbia Records in the mid nineties with the band Pod.
• Formed Healing Sixes and released three records that featured the talents of Kevin Shirley, Jason Bonham, and Joe Bonamassa.
• Performed and recorded with John Hiatt, Beth Hart, Joe Bonamassa, Jason Bonham, and others.
• Performed all over the US, Mexico, Canada, Japan and Europe with a noteworthy performance at the Royal Albert Hall and Hammersmith Odeon in London with Joe B.
