Indy VegFest Virtual Event

Indy VegFest Virtual Event

Sun, Mar 29, 2020 3:00 PM – Sun, Mar 29, 2020 7:00 PM Indy VegFest Virtual Event

Online Event

**We are bringing Indy VegFest to you!**

All you need is an internet connection, and a computer or mobile device.

WHY:
We were obviously disappointed about having to cancel the 2020 Indy VegFest, and as the COVID-19 pandemic has affected all of our lives in different ways, we really want to give people an opportunity to connect to one another, and perhaps something to look forward to during this difficult time. So, for the first time, Indy VegFest is going VIRTUAL.

WHEN:
The Indy VegFest Virtual Event will be Sunday, March 29th from 3-7 pm Eastern Time.

WHO:
Presenters include:

Ellen Jaffe Jones-Author & Personal Trainer

Jon Camp, Senior Officer, Community Engagement for The Humane League
Sweattboxx Wellness Center

Breathing Space Yoga + Meditation

Kanda Farm Sanctuary

Quiana Quarles with Black Vegan Fest Indy

and more to come!

HOW:
We are using the Facebook event that was already set up, and we will have a schedule of speakers, presentations, demonstrations .. and a virtual sanctuary tour! Each speaker will start a live feed in the Facebook event. This will allow participants to ‘choose your own adventure.’ Tune into the presentations that you want to view live, and then if there are some that you miss, they can be accessed later. All live feeds will be archived on the event page.

In addition, the vendors signed up for the 2020 event will be posting and sharing information about their businesses and organizations, including specials, promotions, and information about how you can support them during this challenging time for small businesses.

We will be posting about some contests and drawings for participants throughout the virtual event.
Participation is easy: just tune in by opening THIS EVENT on Sunday at 3 pm. Keep refreshing your browser to see announcements from us and posts from vendors. As long as you’ve RSVP’d, you should receive a notification when a presenter starts their live feed.

Our organization is entirely run by volunteers. A contribution of any amount helps, and donations are tax-deductible. (Tax ID #36-4846853)

Event tags: Indy VegFest, online, vegan, vegetarian, shop local, animal rights
