If you like to really feel a town, meet the people, and experience the food and lifestyle of the locals, then Indy Hostel is the place to stay! We have the friendly atmosphere of a hostel with the style of a bed and breakfast inn. We are near downtown but nestled in the quiet Broad Ripple neighborhood near local restaurants, shops, and entertainment venues. Our hostel provides more than just a bed, it offers a unique chance to meet like-minded people with similar interests. We also host events large and small for our community and guests. From in town or around the globe, come enjoy the hospitality of Indy Hostel.We are located less than a five minute walk away from four pubs and a great coffee shop. You could rent a bike from us and take the Monon trail to Broad Ripple Village as well. There are no shortage of things to do in our Neighborhood!

Our front desk is open from 10am-10pm so please plan to arrive between those hours when checking in to your stay with us. If for any reason you can’t make it before 10pm, don’t worry! we’ll send you an e-mail with all the information you may need.

This year, the Folk Fest will be held on 3 summer evenings in Indy Hostel’s newly renovated backyard venue. June 6, July 18, and August 8.

Join us for our 8th Annual Festival of Local Folk Music! The Indy Folk Fest includes; Music, Food, Beer, Amazing Vendors, and Incredible Local Organizations sharing their passion and purpose. Our attendees range from neighborhood friends and family, to cross town music lovers. Acts are selected locally and regionally, each year we have a very talented performance base. This years event will highlight a couple of international acts, and we are looking forward to over 500 guests in hosting the Indy Folk Fest.

This year, our event will also benefit the non-profit organizations, the Children’s Bureau and Teacher’s Treasures.

Heal Your Disease presents Heal Your Ears ’18 at the Indy Hostel.
Friends and family (even the ones we don’t know, yet!) are all welcome to this FREE event.

Along with live music there will be many local vendors, guest speakers including Wendel Fowler, and much more!

Both the event and street parking are free.
Hop, walk, jog, bike, skate, or, roller blade in easily from the Monon Trail.
