The goal is to explore the history of environmental harm in Indianapolis, promote public dialogue, and encourage people to take action.

– “Climates of Inequality: Stories of Environmental Justice” traveling exhibit (in English and Spanish) – January 9 to February 16, 2020 at the Central Library, Atrium . The exhibit was created by 22 communities as they explore the roots of climate and environmental inequality where they live—and envision more just futures.
IUPUI students and faculty worked closely with the Kheprw Institute and other community partners contributed to the Indianapolis local story “Legacies of Environmental Justice in Indianapolis” which includes two companion exhibits:
– Fall Creek: A Look at Art and the Environment , Tim Farris Photography – December 9- January 25th in the Yellow Gallery of the Cret building
– “Indianapolis Toxic Sites and Community Treasures” a Google Poly virtual tour created by Museum Studies students Alisha Baginski, Hannah Lundell, and Megan Perry
We hope you visit the exhibits happening from December 9 to February 16. All exhibits are open to the public and freely accessible during the Library’s public hours. For more information contact [email protected]
