School of Yoga & Education

Teacher training programs are available for those seeking either a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification or a 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification. Additionally, we hold monthly events with our in-studio teachers as well as visiting practitioners like Kino MacGregor, Rolf Gates, and Taylor Hunt to name a few. These events & workshops allow students to gain a deeper, more comprehensive understanding of specific topics. All of our teacher training programs are certified by Yoga Alliance and CEUs are often available through workshops.

Whether you’re joining us for your first yoga class ever or looking to deepen your practice, we’re here to share guidance & community.

Students new to the studio can take advantage of our New Student Special which gives you one full month of unlimited classes for $54.

Join Taylor Hunt for an immersive weekend into many aspects of the Ashtanga Yoga method and practice. Sign up for one, two, three or all workshops.

Complete Weekend $250/$200 prior to Feb. 15th Individual Sessions $50/$40 prior to Feb. 15th

Taylor Hunt is a devoted practitioner and teacher of Ashtanga yoga. He makes yearly trips to Mysore, India to study under the guidance of his teacher, R. Sharath Jois. In 2013, Taylor was granted Level 2 Authorization to teach and has had the honor of assisting Sharath on several occasions. Taylor is dedicated to sharing the healing practice with others and providing a community where practitioners can find support in their practice and daily lives. Seeking to preserve the traditional method, Taylor teaches daily Mysore classes at Ashtanga Yoga Columbus Ohio. He is also the author of A Way From Darkness and director of the Trini Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to sharing the life-changing practice of Ashtanga with those suffering from addiction. Longtime friends and previous musical collaborators, Larry Gindhart and Lisa Daugherty joyfully invite you to join us for an extraordinary evening of mindful movements and relaxing sound healing. This is music for comfort, peace and healing, using a variety of instruments to ignite and soothe the body, mind and spirit – uplifting, releasing and renewing.

An extended Savasana (final relaxation) with gentle music will conclude the session. Wear comfy clothes and bring a yoga mat. No yoga experience necessary to attend this workshop. Some yoga mats are available at the studio.

Join Lisa and Brett Daugherty as they guide you and your partner through a yoga experience of shared intimacy and connection. Throughout this 90 minute class, you will work with your partner to create beautiful partner yoga poses and sequences. You will also practice and learn Thai massage techniques to relax and nurture yourself and your partner. Affirmations and meditations to deepen your expressions of love and compassion towards each other will also be a part of the experience.

This workshop is suitable for all levels even if you have never taken a yoga class.
