Join us for the 2020 Christel DeHaan Family Foundation Visiting Artist Lecture with Tsherin Sherpa, held in conjunction with the opening of three spring exhibitions.

Tsherin Sherpa discusses his practice informed by traditional Tibetan religious iconography, folk tales, identity politics, displacement, social issues, and his personal everyday experiences.

Supported by the Christel DeHaan Family Foundation, this talk is presented in conjunction with the opening reception for “Metamorphosis: Recent Painting & Sculpture by Tsherin Sherpa.” The exhibition is on view in the Herron Galleries from March 11 through April 25.

This event is free and open to the public and occurs in the Basile Auditorium of Eskenazi Hall on the IUPUI campus. Visit herrongalleries.org for details on parking, exhibitions, and more.
