Are you interested in advocating for change but don’t know where to begin? Are you unsure how to bring yourself and your perspective into the realm of public policy change? With a focus on how to affect congressional level decision-making, this class will give you some encouragement and a few take-away tools for advocacy around legislation you care about. This class has been repeated many times over the life of Barter School Indy, and the teacher, Lisa, has loved leading the class every time.

Teacher Bio: Lisa Marchal is an eastside resident who has worked in the realm of public policy advocacy for about a decade. In her spare time, she sings, travels, and checks out arts and restaurants. Oh, and she follows the band U2 around sometimes.
